This has gradually led to the realization by Zimbabwes neighbours, through the Southern African Development Community (SADC) regional organisation, that they had to assist in resolving the crisis for the good of the region as a whole. In the light of the above, this paper seeks to examine the spirit and manifestations of the Zimbabwean crisis, its origins, development and impact, regional implications of the crisis and the various initiatives by Zimbabwes neighbours to resolve the countrys crises.
